Yoruba actor, Baba Atoli is dead

Olaniyi Raji, also known as Baba Atoli, a Yoruba actor, has died.

Foluke Daramola, a colleague of the veteran actor, announced his death in an Instagram post on Thursday.

Daramola captioned the deceased photo,

“Sad we lost Baba Atoli.” What a pity.”

Baba Atoli’s friends and family also took to social media to express their condolences.

Following an illness, Baba Atoli begged for financial assistance before his death.

In a video posted on YouTube, Baba Atoli requested the support of the national president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, also known as Mr Latin, and the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
