“We stand strong no matter what The enemy does” Legendary singer Ebenezer Obey speaks amidst allegations of neglecting dead child

Legendary Nigerian juju singer Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi has shared a post on social media days after allegations of neglecting his late son, Olalekan Obey Fabiyi, before his death.

We recall that the veteran singer was thrown into mourning when his 48-year-old son reportedly died.

A controversial blogger had alleged that Ebenezer Obey neglected his late son until his death in July.

Gist Lover claimed that Obey refused to care for his son, whom he had out of wedlock.

Sharing a video of himself praising God, Ebenezer Obey claimed he stood strong in Christ no matter the enemy’s plans.

He wrote: “Psalms 18:2 -The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.

“l went back to the Holy Spirit to teach me what to do, and the result of my communication with the Holy Spirit is the launching of this ministry.

“I have received several condolence messages from all and sundry. l appreciate and thank you all for your love and concern.

“Once again, I appreciate all condolences, but let us rather turn further condolences to prayer support of this new ministry to help those who are in pain of alcoholism and drug addiction.

“Job 22:21 says ‘Acquaint now thyself with God, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.’ Get out of Alcoholism, Get out of Drugs. Jesus Loves you.”
