Meet the founders and designers of Brownstone, one of the newest Black-owned menswear labels available at the world-famous Nordstrom, twin brothers Warner and Waverly Watkins.
The company features modern designs made by the Watkins brothers themselves, and it has attracted the interest of well-known celebrities.
LeBron James, Chris Paul, Daniel Kaluuya, and Tyrod Taylor are some athletes who have been spotted wearing the attire.
The most recent release from Brownstone was made available only at Nordstrom.
The collection, which was inspired by mid-century artists David Stone Martin and Charles Eames, features casual staples, such as washed-out T-shirts, pullover hoodies, reversible jackets, classic cardigans, and cargo pants.
The brand’s Nordstrom launch is a part of the luxury department chain’s “Concept 12:
Black_Space” initiative to celebrate Black creativity in fashion curated by five renowned Black artists.
28 different Black-owned brands, including Brownstone, were chosen.
The collection is now available for purchase in more than 100 Nordstrom stores across the country or online at Nordstrom.com.
