Toyin Abraham has completely neglected Funke Akindele’s birthday, despite allegations that they are in talking times
Supporting the widespread notion held by some that there is a “quiet beef” arising out of a war of supremacy between Nollywood heavyweights, Funke Akindele and Abraham.
On Wednesday, August 24, actress Lola OJ celebrates her birthday. Toyin Abraham, who passed over Akindele’s birthday, sent her best wishes.
“Happy birthday, my sweet sister @lolaoj,” God bless your new age sis, Abraham wrote as she accompanied a picture of Lola OJ on her official Instagram account.
Fans questioned why she didn’t also wish Funke Akindele a happy birthday in response to her action.
You may remember that Abraham stated in a previous interview that Akindele is one of the few individuals in the Nigerian film business that she greatly admires and looks up to.
She said that as a mark of respect, everytime she meets her in public, she bends down to greet her.
She is a senior colleague of mine whom I greatly respect, so please believe me when I say that I have no idea what is being discussed. One of the few persons I look up to is her.
