Russia War: WHO Delivers 20 Ambulances To Ukraine; The World Health Organization (WHO) moment gave 20 all- terrain ambulances suitable to serve in indeed the most damaged and inapproachable areas to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
“You know We bring this not just inventories but support grounded on your requirements, WHO said. Moment we’re handing to you 20 ambulances, along with creators and blood refrigerators to hospitals wherever they are demanded.
He said Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the WHO Director-General handing over the keys to the Deputy Minister of Health Iryna Mykychak in Lviv, Ukraine.

These ambulances can drive to the most important places available, indeed where the roads have been most damaged” said Deputy Minister Mykychak as she looked over the new addition to the exigency relief platoon’s line.

Dr Tedros has been in Ukraine for 3 days of meetings with elderly government leaders and to assess the current health requirements in Ukraine.
During this time he visited health installations damaged during the war and spoke with health care workers who worked lifelessly, furnishing care by torchlight and ultimately emptying all cases when it came too dangerous to continue.
Two months into the war, the medical structure in Ukraine has been significantly damaged due to the nonstop attacks on health care, and access to health care in numerous areas has been oppressively impacted.
This donation of 20 ambulances will help bring vital lifesaving care to people in Ukraine and ameliorate the public exigency medical brigades’ punctuality and quality of health services.

One of the health workers we spoke to remembered how during the days of constant shelling in their megacity, ambulances continued to operate indeed during curfew to insure people entered the care they demanded.

WHO has so far delivered 393 metric tonnes of exigency and medical inventories and outfit to Ukraine.
Of that quantum, 167 metric tonnes have reached their intended destinations, substantially in the east, south and north of the country where the need is topmost.
