Rev Esther Ajayi finally reacts as Genesis spills heavily on their feud

Reverend Esther Ajayi, also known as Iya Adura, the founder of the Love of Christ Generation Church, has finally responded to the schism between herself and Prophet Oladele Israel Genesis.

It was reported a few hours ago that Genesis made a dig at Rev Esther Ajayi during a Sunday service program.

Genesis claimed that when Iya Adura was arrested for alleged fraud, he abandoned his family. He claimed that the well-known prayer mother removed all of his photos from their official social media pages because he was going through a rough patch.

Genesis described how he had meritoriously served Iya Adura, even to the point of abandoning his ministry.

Although Genesis did not mention Iya Adura by name, numerous clues in his statement indicated that he was referring to the female cleric.

He recalled Iya Adura assisting a young orange seller named Ayomide, how she assisted the late Baba Suwe when he was sick, and how he had served under her with all his heart.

He stated in his statement that his mother is the only ‘Iya Adura’ he knows.

During a press conference to commemorate her church’s 15th anniversary in London and one year of thanksgiving at her Lagos Cathedral, Rev. Esther Ajayi prayed for Genesis.

She is too busy, according to the highly revered woman of God, to lose focus because she has a slew of high-profile guests attending her event.

“I am too busy a person to loose my focus. Obasanjo coming to preach in my church on Sunday…” she replied when asked for comment on Pastor Genesis’s outburst.

We also recall that a lawyer named Pelumi Olajengbesi issuing a strong warning to Lanre Teriba not to threaten Genesis.

Lanre Teriba was seen on video blasting Genesis after an outburst on Iya Adura. He gave Genesis 24 hours to apologize to the self-proclaimed philanthropist.

A caption shared on social media by Seun Oloketuyi was a warning from Pelumi Olajengbesi to singer Lanre Teriba to stop threatening Genesis.

He wrote: Lanre Teriba Atorise is advised to quickly caution himself with his nature of utterances in the dispute between Prophet Israel Ogundipe Genesis and Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi.

He should control his emotions now, nothing under the law gives him the right to threaten anybody. A threat is a crime under the law. The law allows an aggrieved person to express himself or herself just like Genesis has done, but the law will jail a person who threatens another even if he has not carried out his threats. Atorise is well advised because if anything happens to Genesis negligently, Atorise has bought a case he did not pray for. The person to apologise in 24 hours.
