The youth group has lambasts President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Revolutionaries Congress, APC for pegging its presidential nomination form at N100 million, saying similar can beget corruption.
Buhari’s salary in four years cannot cover APC nomination form of N100m – Group slams APC, PMB
The group, Coalition of Southern and Middle Belt Youth Leaders Assembly, COSMBYLA, said it wonders how someone applying for a job with a remuneration of N56 million for four times will be anticipated to apply for the job with N100 million if the chairman and his party aren’t planning to steal from the country.
In a press release inked by leaders of the colorful zones that make up the group, including its chairman general, Goodluck Ibem demanded the logic behind the high cost of the party’s presidential form.
“ We’re scarified over the outrageous cost of APC nomination and Expression of interest forms of N100 million for Presidential, N50 million for guardianship, N20 million for Senatorial and N10 million for civil house of representative.
The endorsement of these crazy expenses for simple designation and Expression of interest types of a party in power affirms the party as a cesspool of defilement.”
”The group knocked President Buhari, saying in 2014 he criticised the party for fixing the figure of N27.5 million for the presidential forms ahead of the 2015 general choices, but under him, his party is now demanding N100 million, and he’s keeping quiet.
Analysing the hires of the chairman, COSMBYLA said “ The periodic payment of the chairman of Nigeria is N14, k. In 4 times it would be N56,k.
How will someone apply for a job with N100 million, other crusade charges exclusive just to earn N56,k. President Buhari is an hand of Nigerians and he’s answerable to Nigerians who tagged him into power in 2015 and 2019.
As youth leaders of this country who have the interest of our nation Nigeria at heart, We demand to know how someone whose payment will amount to N56, in 4 times will be applying for the same job with a whopping sum of N100 million.”
The group said if an APC presidential applicant brings out N100 million to buy his party’s Presidential forms, spends all the moneybags demanded to campaign around the country and settle political party heavyweights he’d surely steal from Nigerians to recoup when sworn in.
They said: “President Buhari has affirmed to Nigerians that this time he challenged for the workplace of the President, he was not challenging to be President so he can construct Nigeria, but instead he was challenging so he can obliterate what is left of the country.
How might one make sense of that when President Buhari came into office, one dollar was traded for N160 and presently under his supervision a similar one dollar is N580
Foreign investors were coming in to invest in our frugality but moment all of the investors have left because of instability.
General Muhammad Buhari has failed Nigerians and we can not pretend about it. Nigerians are tired of this government, we’re now want the President to leave the office.
Presid Buhari has bombed Nigerians and we can’t imagine about it. Nigerians are fed up with this organization, we are hanging tight for the President’s acquiescence.
