Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, has given N5 million to Benue State flood victims.

On Thursday, October 20, he made the news while visiting the impacted areas to show his sympathies.

In order to concentrate on the raging floods, Obi had already declared the halt of his campaign and urged his rivals to do the same.

Regardless of political differences, everyone must work hard, according to the former governor of Anambra state.

“I stopped and told my people no more campaigns until we’re able to visit some of the sites and at least sympathise with victims,” he said.
