PDP Must Present Strong, Sellable Candidate To Win 2023 Election – Olisa Metuh; The former national spokesperson of People Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, has made a call that the party must present a strong and salable presidential seeker if the party must return to power in 2023.

The PDP chieftain who made the call when he appeared on Arise Television on Saturday morning noted that not only are Nigerians hankering for the return of PDP, but PDP represents the mind of Nigerians.

“ We’ve the issue of zoning, where the seeker must come from, but for me, the administration of Nigeria must be on the position of experience, notoriety with the right disposition, someone who’s respectable to all sections of this country, all regions in Nigerian.

someone who’ll bring us back to at least where we were as of 2015. not inescapably where the person comes from, the former scribe said.

Still, equity demands that it should go to the southeast, If you must talk about where the person comes from. And south-east has 3 of the good aspirant in the PDP.

Wherever i go, Nigerians are saying Peter Obi and I believe he can take us to great heights.

“ Governance isn’t about your own capability, the people need a symbol and make their offerings, Peter Obi has that symbol but delegates election is different.

Mr Metuh who’s also a counsel said the country is grossly divided now over the issue of zoning because of the failure of President Buhari.

Where we’re right now, isn’t an issue isn’t where you come from, but the good candidate to win the election for the PDP in 2023.

Peter Obi is one of the symbols that can win choices for us but we’ve others who can inversely win the election for us as well.

In the absence of a public agreement, we’ve to bring the best who can get us to bounce across the country, we’ve Atiku, and we’ve Tambuwal who has done well as a governor and president of the PDP governors forum.

We need a unifier, someone who has connections across the nation, the right disposition and knows that he needs to be a platoon player and have just two campaigners who fit into this part but I wo n’t reveal their names yet.

The Delegates know if we must win the election, also they’re just two persons. One is Peter Obi and the alternate bone is from the North. I’ll come back in a week or two to reveal that person.

Speaking on the political result for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of IPOB, Mr Metuh said only a political result for the release of Nnamdi Kanu can save the South East from getting another North-East.

Still, we wo n’t be where we’re now especially when we had the issue of herders and others, If the government had made a categorical statement before now.

Now to the issue of Nnamdi Kanu, if we believe the way we handled the issue of Boko Haram was a mistake, also we should change tactics and not repeat the same mistake with Nnamdi Kanu.

2023 Presidency: I Will Respect PDP Decision On Zoning – Peter Obi

Nnamdi Kanu isn’t just Nmadi Kanu, he’s a movement in the south-east but some miscreant has taken the occasion of that to induce difficulty on Nigerians in the south-east and introduce cabal-suchlike life as it happed in Italy.

We need to dialogue with Nnamdi Kanu not as a person but because of the millions of people he controls and the President should have a rethink and have a political result.

A legal result can take 5 to 10 times to finish a case and do we keep having to sit at home? No.

So at least for now, let the president sit down with Nmadi Kanu and have a political result, any other thing is a redundancy of the problems we’re facing right now.
