Osun Poll: We’ll Challeng Election Result With 50 Lawyers In Court Of Law – Oyetola

You we recall that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Ademola Adeleke was declared winner of the Osun governorship held on Saturday

PDP candidate polled 403,371 to defeat Oyetola of APC with 375,027 votes, while Lasun Yusuf of Labour Party, LP polled 2,729

Speaking about Oyetola’s plans to challenge Adeleke’s victory in court, senior counsel Kunle Adegoke, a member of Oyetola’s legal team, told Vanguard that 50 attorneys have expressed interest in taking the case.

In response to a question regarding the legal justifications for Oyetola’s challenge to Adeleke, Adegoke said that they were still analyzing the election results and compiling their evidence.

About 50 lawyers have expressed interest in joining us as we continue to analyze the election results, develop our legal arguments, and gather evidence to contest Adeleke’s designation as governor-elect. He spoke.

A leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Diran Odeyemi, had earlier claimed to News Agency that any politician who intends to file a lawsuit to challenge the election of Adeleke as governor-elect of Osun State is paying attorneys to conduct scholarly research.
