Osas Ighodaro celebrates ten years anniversary in the entertainment industry

Osas Ighodaro, a media personality and actress from Nollywood, is commemorating ten years in the entertainment business. The mother of a single child described her trip to Nigeria and how it affected her life.

Osas disclosed that she had intended to stay in Nigeria for only six months but ended up staying for ten years. She will always be appreciative of her trip so far and anticipates what is ahead.

Osas Ighodaro released a music video of herself dancing to the tune Water, Wata’ by Fela Kuti to commemorate her ten years.

According to Osas, the song beautifully captures her flow, battle, and freedom throughout her time in Nigeria.

“On this day ten years ago, I set out for Nigeria. It wasn’t my first trip there, but it was unquestionably a trip that altered the course of my life.

Enjoy in honor of my ten years in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Osas’ “Water, Wata” album turns ten years old today!

The element of water, for me, beautifully encapsulates my experience in Nigeria so far: my flow, my fight, and my freedom. I only intended to stay in Nigeria for six months, yet 10 years later, here I am.  

I’m forever grateful for my journey thus far and I look forward to what’s to come…God’s plan is always the best and I’m grateful to celebrate this.

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to participate in such a unique and enjoyable photo shoot! I’m so appreciative of the magic we were able to conjure with just one brief rehearsal. You all are amazing, and I will always be grateful.

Osas Ighodaro couldn’t contain her tears as she accepted two awards at the AMVCA 2022, according to News Agency.

At the African Magic Viewers Choice Award 2022, Osas Ighodaro won for best dressed and best actress in a drama.

Celebrities looked stunning on the red carpet at the AMVCA event.

Celebrities regularly display their sense of style as fans vote for their favorites to win the coveted “Best Dressed” award, one of the most prestigious in Africa’s entertainment sector.

Osas, who wowed in a flowing see-through gown, was named the winner. Her whole appearance was enhanced by her ponytail and drop earrings.

The actress also received her first AMVCA award for Best Actress in a Drama.

Osas Ighodaro shared a video of herself running to the stage to accept her award and profusely thanking God for it as she described her win as a dream come true that she still can’t believe in order to express her gratitude to the organizers and everyone who helped make it possible for her to win the award.

She also gave her late mother and her daughter a special dedication in the plague. subsequently expressed her gratitude in particular to the AMVCA’s organizers, the RattleSnake cast and crew, and all of her supporters.
