Nigerians Won’t Forgive Us, If PDP Lost 2023 Presidential Election; FCT Chairman; Hon. Zakka Sunday a Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Federal Capital Territory, chapter, has said Nigerians won’t forgive the party if its leaders and applicants failed to unite in order for the party to win the 2023 Presidential election.
Sunday said this during the Iftar, the breaking of the last meeting of a PDP Presidential applicant, Sen. Anyim Pius with PDP FCT delegates, late on Thursday, in Abuja.
Sunday prompted all the Presidential applicants and leaders to guide their utterances and work as a platoon in recovering power for the party in 2023. “ I’ll crave your indulgence that you help us by talking to yourco-aspirants to know that if PDP fails to win this time around, Nigerians won’t forgive us.
Thus, tell yourco-aspirants, the leaders, that please, let us guide our utterances because we’re hotting the house the more. Rather, let us work as a family, so that we defy the monster by February 2023, so that PDP will be suitable to have a clean and landslide palm.
But if we’re divided the house won’t stand. This is our passionate appeal to your good tone and your associates who are aspiring. Sunday, who said that only one person could come chairman of Nigeria at a time, prompted the applicants not to heat the polity.
We know without a doubt, regardless of whether we like it that each individual should be there in turn. That seat isn’t meant for two people to sit on at the same time. It’s meant for one person.
Still, we will appeal that let us not overcharge the situation, “ If that’s the case. Let us not heat the polity, because the temperature is formerly high. The issue of instability is high in the country.
In this way, let us cooperate with the goal that we can safeguard the country. So let us put our house together so that we can deliver this country.
Appreciating Anyim for the regale, the PDP chieftain said the delegates would repay the gesture as well as pray for the success of Anyim and Nigerians.
In his response, the former President of the Senate said he wo n’t take on any applicant but would rather make his crusade issue- grounded. Anyim promised to relate the FCT delegate’s communication to hisco-aspirants.
“I will likewise ask the executive and all others to bear me witness that I keep to my path. Whenever I talk, I do n’t make references to any other seeker. I just concentrated on issues. Would anybody say it has not been so?
“ That’s why, indeed for the purpose of this meeting, we just face why we’re then. I suppose this is well taken and I’ll take this communication to the public president,” Anyim promised.
