Internet users have responded to the deleted post by Burna Boy, a popular international pop star from Nigeria, about his time in a United Kingdom prison.

Burna Boy tweeted about his turbulent past and his stint in the British prison Chelmsford HMP earlier today. He also disclosed how he entered the music business following a run-in with UK police enforcement.

“I entered the music business directly from Chelmsford HMP,” he tweeted. I never thought I’d even live this long,” he admitted.

“Therefore, it’s all amusing now when people talk about me. Naturally, I would perform with a broken leg or even with no arms or legs.

Nigeria doesn’t really know me. Being the biggest Nigerian artist is not important to me. I’m just relieved that I can pursue my passion while supporting my family.

“You would be way happier for me if you knew even half of the things I used to do for money, jeopardizing my freedom every day.”

Following this admission, internet users mocked him in the comments section for boasting about his accomplishment while having served time in jail. Additionally, some people consider his story to be influential.
