You we Recall that Adedamola Adefolahan, better known by his stage name Fireboy DML, has confessed that early in his career, he frequently prayed to God for an album similar to Wizkid’s debut effort, “Superstar.”
He revealed this when discussing the release of his own debut album, Laughter Tears and Goosebumps, with UK-based broadcaster Adesope Olajide.
Fireboy responded that he was worried and dubious because the album came out after he had just released two songs when Adesope questioned him about if he knew or felt that LTG would be a classic success.
He continued by saying that he had previously prayed to God for an album like Wizkid’s Superstar.
The singer of “Peru” also admitted that the love stories he included in his songs for LTG were based on people whose hearts he had witnessed falling in love.
He continued by saying that on his second album, Apollo, he had finally made up his mind to tell his own story.
