Minimum Wage N30k, Why N100m For APC Presidential Form Is Immoral – Falana; Mr Femi Falana the legal rights counsel, has blamed the N100m presidential nomination form figure set by the ruling All Revolutionaries Congress (APC), describing it as “ immoral” since the country’s minimum is N30,…..k
Falana made the comment on Thursday, days after the APC fixed the prices for nomination forms for those fighting for seats in the 2023 choices. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also pegged its presidential form figure at N40m.
Those outrageous nomination freights are immoral, asleep, and illegal,” he said during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Moment on Thursday.
As per him, the move is unlawful and abuses the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights and the Nigerian constitution.
Again, section 42 of the Nigerian constitution provides that nothing shall be subordinated to any restriction or demarcation on the base of class, fortune, coitus, or whatever, the indigenous counsel added.
Still, that if you can not mobilise N100 million or N40 million, you can not attain some positions in your country, “ If these parties are saying they want to count substantial people.
No restriction can be erected to help you from sharing in the politics of the country. You’re now saying that the politics of the country is for moneybags or fat pussycats. That’s against the spirit and the letters of the constitution.
The immorality of it’s that we’ve over 90 million Nigerians that have been classified poor. In a country where the minimal paycheck is about N30, and it isn’t paid by some countries, you ca n’t say you’re collecting N100 million or N40 million to buy a form.”

Falana’s remark comes closely following discussions about the costs for designation structures by the APC. But the party’s spokesperson Felix Morka says the examens about the freights aren’t justified.
According to him, no frugality anywhere differently in the world is perfect and despite that, there are people who still live opulent lives announcement make licit plutocrat in Nigeria.
Our party isn’t for the rich, he stated. The party came to a choice that the worth put on these structures are defended.
