Maria Okan, the mother of Nigerian music artist Olamide’s child, has shared new details about their strained relationship.
When Okan first announced her new work at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in the United United Kingdom, she posted a tale about her hardships there.
Her narrative, which implied that Olamide left her to care for the kid alone, didn’t sit well with some of his followers, and they didn’t hold back when they voiced their dismay and disgust.
Maria Okan responded by stating once more that Olamide did not provide her with any funding for an abortion, despite what had been reported online.
She wrote: “Your trolling comments, death threats and insults all these years have meant nothing lol. We are doing well, we are healthy, we are making money and we will continue to elevate.”
“And for the record, no one gave me any stinking money for an abortion. As a mother, when you carry a child and deliver her by the Grace of God, you will know how insulting this is and has been.””
At the time those nonsense stories came out, I chose to focus on delivering my child since I had a high-risk pregnancy and a fibroid that practically exploded a few months in.
But as she is safe and sound now, there’s no pressure. We thank God
You we Recall that Okan’s pregnancy broke the internet back in 2019 and the hype was huge.
Olamide and the MTV Shuga actress got together under the impression that he was unmarried and divorced from his baby mam.
