Adebayo Adelabu former Deputy Governor Operations of the Central Bank of Nigeria( CBN), and was the gubernatorial flagbearer of APC in 2019 election, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress APC.
Adelabu made this know on Sunday in Ibadan Oyo state Nigeria. Our pressman recalls that Adelabu was one of the gubernatorial applicants who queried the APC primary election on Friday.
The former CBN Deputy Governor, who didn’t expose the party where he’d join ahead of 2023, said that the APC has been commandeered in the state.
Adelabu, who spoke during an exigency with his followers in Ibadan, said that he’ll realise his ambition in another political party.
At the meeting where the movement from APC to another yet- to- be blazoned party was considered, were Senator Ademola Adeseun, former Oyo South senatorial aspirant,Dr. Olusola Ayandele, former APC deputy Chairman, Alhaji Isiaka Alimi
Others are, Chief Goke Oyetunji, Chief Kunle Sanda, former Chairman of Atisbo Original government,Mr. Jacob Ogunmola, former ALGON Chairman, Ayodeji Abass- Aleshinloye andMr. Wasiu Ajimobi, a youngish family to immediate once governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
Adelabu said that he’s consulting with his followers from the 33 local government areas of the state to know the good political party to realise his ambition in 2023 general election.
He said that he’ll advertise his coming political party in the coming 48 hours after a meeting with leaders of his group.
Adelabu said, Since my followers have asked me to leave APC, we’ve left the APC.

It worked during the time of late Abiola Ajimobi, he left AC and went to ANPP and latterly came back to ACN.
