Laide Bakare, a well-known nollywood actress from Nigeria, has criticized several of her colleagues for failing to remember her birthday.

According to STATE POST NEWS, the mother of three turned a new age today, October 7, and although some of her colleagues showed her love, others avoided her.

She claimed that because she wasn’t made to please other people, she would be content, have a happy life, and prioritize pleasing herself.

Laide said that since happiness is a choice, she would let others be if they didn’t enjoy it.

The controversial actress revealed that the moment she learnt to be happy in doing her things, the day she felt accomplished.

Laide reemphasized that pleasing everyone will never be her responsibility and if they don’t like her, it isn’t her problem.
