EPL: I Doesn’t Know When Ronaldo Will Return To Man United – Ten Hag

Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United’s pre-season is yet unknown, according to Erik ten Hag.

The Portuguese player is eager to leave the club during the summer transfer window but has not yet returned from the summer break.

As reported by Marca, Ten Hag was speaking during a United press conference in Australia, where they are presently on tour.

He stated that he is unsure of Cristiano’s comeback date but is looking forward to working with him and assisting with his integration.

After spending the previous 12 years, nine at Real Madrid and three at Juventus, Cristiano came back to United last summer.

At the age of 37, he is running out of time to achieve his goal of winning a sixth Champions League to catch Paco Gento.

And United won’t even be seated at the head table in European football next year. In 2021/22, they placed sixth in the Premier League, but only just made it into the Europa League.

Cristiano hasn’t participated in that before, and he doesn’t want to now. Ronaldo, whose contract with the club is coming to an end, is eager to leave the Old Trafford team.

He appears eager to sign with a team that might provide him access to the UEFA Champions League next year.

Due to personal obligations, the Portuguese is currently absent from the Red Devils’ preseason tour.

On the other side, Martial has won over supporters and critics with his goal-scoring performance during the team’s preseason trip.

In this month’s three friendlies against Liverpool, Melbourne Victory, and Crystal Palace, he has scored in each of them.

Something’s Need To Change In Manchester United Teams – Ronaldo To Erik ten Hag

The Guardian reports that Martial will start ahead of Ronaldo in the forthcoming campaign even if the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is unable to find a new home during the current transfer window.

The 26-year-old, who has only scored eight goals for Manchester United in the last two seasons, was previously thought to be a summer transfer candidate.

He joined the Red Devils in 2016, and in 269 games since then, he has tallied 79 goals and 50 assists.

Erik ten Hag, the new manager of the Red Devils, was questioned about the starting lineup for Martial, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho’s next season at a press conference on Friday.
