Delta 2023: Omo-Agege Denied Step Down His Governorship Ambition for Senate; The Nigeria Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Friday, said he didn’t step down his 2023 governorship ambition for senatorial race in Delta State.

Omo-Agege in a statement in his Facebook handle, said he’s bent in his decision to Delta State Governorship, adding that he’d not compromise his guardianship ideal for anybody or for any reason whatsoever.

Replying to rumour making the rounds, he said It has been brought to my notice that there’s a rumour making the rounds that I’ve stepped down my ideal for the 2023 Delta State Governorship and bought the Nomination Form for Senate.

It’s unfortunate that similar unsupported and fabricated falsehood could garner similar traction and worse still that some could actually believe it.

For the avoidance of any mistrustfulness let me spell it out I, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege will noway, ever step down or compromise my guardianship ideal for 2023 for anybody or for any reason whatsoever, period

I further state with every fibre of my being that this is an iron- cast oath that can be banked by everybody.
It’s paradoxical that the fast-paced Information Age in which we live moment that accords us all free and awful platforms to circulate and partake information

As well as debate and bandy views and opinions without restrictions could be so demoralized and abused to the extent of immortalizing similar dangerous fables of a deliberate kind.

On this point, I want to stress that I’ll defend the rights of all ( including those opposed to me) to have their freedom of speech and their right to denounce defended at all costs.

Indeed, if the good people of Delta give me the honour of serving them in 2023, I’ll insure that element of our popular structure is strengthened and that room for healthy debate and formative review is given its due to lodge our growing republic.

Formerly again, I want to state for the record that my commitment to the good people of Delta State and my determination to succeed (with the help of all Deltans) in the 2023 governorship will noway ever be lowered by similar cheap capers or juvenile numbers.

My focus on the real thing is unshakeable and my resoluteness for 2023 is unyielding. I laud the good people of Delta State, the senator added.
