It is without a doubt a major accomplishment for the artist to receive an invitation to Queen B’s party and have the opportunity to speak with her.

The experience Burna Boy had working with Beyonce

Burna Boy explained what it was like to work with Beyonce in 2019.

He shared his experience and said working with Beyoncé on a track off her curated album for the Lion King movie was great.

The 28-year-old said this in a tweet, “It was great working on the Lion King Soundtrack with ⁦@Beyonce⁩. Listen and Enjoy,”.

The album, The Lion King: The Gift, featured other Nigerian singers like Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi and Yemi Alade.

The hit song from the album was black Skin Girl, which features her daughter Blue Ivy and Wizkid.

The song encourages black girls to cherish their melanin skin and praises celebrities, known to be gorgeously dark in complexion.

Beyonce speaks on working with Nigerian artists
Beyonce, said she wanted a collection of songs from different genres that express what she was trying to pass across.

She declared, “This is aural cinema, a novel storytelling experience, and I wanted to do more than just compile a list of songs that were influenced by the movie.

It is a cooperation and a mash-up of genres, not just one sound. Everything from R&B to pop to hip hop to Afro-Beat has inspired it. I wished for each person to embark on their own journey.
