Afrobeats singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, best known by his stage as Wizkid, gave Basketmouth, a Nigerian actor and comedian, a gift before his birthday this month.
The stand-up comedian, who was 43 years old and would turn 44 on September 14, got a special package from Wizzy.
On Saturday, Basketmouth announced this on Twitter, claiming that he had no idea the Starboy would remember the day, let alone send him anything.
The comedian shared a cover art of Wizkid cover of his newly released song off his next album, More Love Less Ego.
The movie star thanked the Joro crooner for not being ‘bad to me’ which is also the title of the new song.
I didn’t think you’ll remember my birthday (Sept 14th) talk less of giving me this gift. @wizkidayo thanks for not being ‘BAD TO ME’ 🙏🏾 pic.twitter.com/DcAUIOEmj1
