Amid Man City Interest: Arsenal Offer Bukayo Saka New Contract

The 20-year-old has reportedly been offered a new, long-term deal by Arsenal that would treble his current weekly salary of £70,000 and make him one of the highest-paid players at the team.

Bukayo Saka progressed through Arsenal’s youth programs before making his club debut in the 2018–19 season.

The following season, he was a crucial part of the team’s starting lineup, and during the 2020–21 season, he emerged as one of their notable players.

He was chosen for the England squad for Euro 2020 as a result of his outstanding play for Mikel Arteta’s team.

He was one of the competition’s breakout performers and assisted the Three Lions in reaching the championship game.

Saka upped his game last season, netting 11 goals for the north London team in 38 Premier League outings.

Manchester City has taken notice of him due to his performances and sees him as the perfect successor for Raheem Sterling, who departed the team this summer to join Chelsea.

The 20-year-old is already one of Arsenal’s top players and is regarded as the team’s future, therefore the club is desperate to hang onto him.
