Oyo State governor, Engr.‘Seyi Makinde, on Saturday, replied to the death of the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, describing it as a huge loss to Yoruba race, Nigeria and Oyo state.

The governor, who described Oba Adeyemi’s death as a particular loss to him, noted that he was an ever-probative royal father and a good leader, who spared nothing in trying to make Oyo State and Nigeria lesser.

A statement by the principal press clerk to the governor Mr. Taiwo Adisa, cited the lead representative as saying that Kabiyesi’s useful tidbits and direction were brilliant and accommodating 100% of the time.

The assertion demonstrated that the lead governor communicated his sympathies to the Oyo State Traditional Council, the Oyomesi, Oba Adeyemi’s close family, individuals of Oyo Kingdom and the whole Yoruba race, soliciting to God to grant repose to the soul of the departed monarch.

The governor, who stated that piecemeal from Oyo State losing its last man standing in the rank of educated monarchs with long times of royal leadership, it has also lost a royal institution and an authority, which Alaafin Olayiwola Adeyemi III had come by virtue of his high-octane understanding of Yoruba history, politics and public development.

The Governor said “ I’ve just been informed about the demise of our royal father, His Imperial Majesty, Iku Baba Yeye, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III Oloyo of Oyo Land. I express sincere condolences to the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, which Oba Adeyemi chaired for decades, the Oyomesi and the entire people of Oyo Kingdom.

“I similarly sympathize with the Oloris, kids and whole Adeyemi family on the death of their patriarch and commendable dad. Kabiyesi’s departure is a huge loss not only to Oyo State, to which he committed 52 times of his life as the Alaafin of Oyo Kingdom, but also to Nigeria and the entire Yoruba race.

“Oba Adeyemi was our sole survivor in the position of most famous imperial dads with long periods of authority. He turned into a brilliant ruler, a foundation and a power moved into one by prudence of his huge experience, intelligence and comprehension of Yoruba history, sovereignty and governmental issues.

Oba Adeyemi not just raised the Alaafin high position with his insight and shrewdness, he turned into a commendable model for imperial authority in Africa and carried magnificence to Oyo State and Nigeria.

Kabiyesi noway spared anything in his strive to make Oyo State lesser and to bring about the Nigeria of everyone’s collaborative dream.
