Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, a Nigerian music artist, has claimed that he has established such a significant presence in the music industry that he cannot afford to wait a year to release a new song.
Speaking during a recent interview, Rema said he has distinguished himself with a unique sound that only him can produce and has been noted for.
According to the Mavin/Jonzing Records musician, if he chooses not to release a single in one year, the entire.
Rema boasted that such a hole produced by his absence is because of the bold statement his sound has made in the business
He said; “I’ve distinguished myself. If I don’t drop music for a year, it will be obvious in Africa that something is missing. That’s how bold a statement my sound has made.”
The young Nigerian singer just recently had his sold-out Raves & Roses show in Los Angeles, California.
Selena Gomez attended the concert which saw Rema meet fans expectations as it turned out to be a huge success.
However, one of the highlights of the night was when the Hollywood actress hugged and kissed the ‘Calm Down’ crooner backstage.
Rema shared a video of the sights and sounds from his show while declaring love for Selena in the caption.
Also, in attendance was Grammy-nominated rapper, 6lack who came to show support to his Nigerian counterpart. Rema made sure to also thank 6lack for being there for him.
