In preparation for his £84 million transfer to Old Trafford, Antony has been seen arriving at Manchester United’s Carrington base for his medical.

When everything is said and done, the former Ajax player will rejoin his former manager Erik ten Hag, who has been named the new manager of the Red Devils.

The 22-year-old Brazilian won two Eredivisie championships with Ajax in the Netherlands and a gold medal with his country’s team at the Olympics in Tokyo last year.

After turning down many offers for the 22-year-old Brazilian, Ajax finally gave up after Manchester United upped their offer to a level that Ajax considered acceptable.

Anthony had recently made it clear that he wanted to leave the Johan Cruyff Arena, and the young athlete was ecstatic when his wish came true.

As he passed through the Carrington complex, Antony was observed grinning and raising a hand in celebration.

Since 2000, the club has used the Trafford Training Center in Greater Manchester as its training facility. In 2013, it added a medical center and a department of sports science.

After transferring from Sao Paulo, where he began his youth career, Antony scored 18 goals in his two years for Ajax.

Ten Hag worked to develop Antony’s game during his two years at the Johan Cruyff Arena, and it is obvious the Brazilian is eager to continue this connection at Old Trafford
