The Senator Ahmed Kaita, representing President Muhammadu Buhari’s Katsina North senatorial district, has defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The senator explained that he joined the PDP because the party represents his “ ideals” as a representative of the good people Nigeria.
He indicted the state Governor, Aminu Masari, of “ willful turndown” to save the introductory foundation of republic and of marginalising critical stakeholders in the party. President Muhammadu Buhari is from Daura, one of the original government areas under Kaita.
A statement by Kaita’s assistant, Abdulkadir Lawal, reads incompletely “ Of notable recrimination among numerous of these multitudinous enterprises is the gradational loss of credibility in Governor Masari- led administration, particularly in the avowed turndown to conduct local government choices across the state in time.”
The legislator lamented that the people of his constituencies excused privation, poverty, and hunger for too long. He indicted Masari’s administration of refusing to uphold the introductory foundation of republic and marginalizing critical stakeholders in the state. “ Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita isn’t a crusade politician.
His exemplary and robust representation in the Nigerian Senate is to the admiration of all, and with significant, visible impacts in the areas of infrastructural and mortal capital development across the three Senatorial zones of the state. There’s room to do more,” he said.
“The new page from the choice to join the Peoples’ Democratic Party addresses the goals of representativeness in the command, altruism and a significantly more resolved want and amazing chance to give aid, solace and the truly necessary profits of a majority rule government to individuals.”
