2023 Presidency: Why Gov Wike Must Keep Off Southeast – IPOB; The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Wednesday advised Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and a Presidential applicant to steer clear of the Southeast.

IPOB said Wike denied having any links with the Southeast in the history, hence should keep off the region as he tries to oil for votes.

Emma Important, the spokesperson of IPOB, issued the warning while condemning Wike’s recent visit to the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe. Recalling the killings in Obigbo, Rivers State, IPOB pledged to go all out against anybody who hosts Wike in the Southeast.

In a statement, Important said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential applicant should be shamed of himself for soliciting Igbos for votes. Important said Wike denied being an Igboman; hence visiting the Southeast may consume him.

He said We, the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) adeptly led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU condemn the recent visit to Obi of Onitcha Igwe Alfred Achebe of Anambra State by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.

The visit is part of the reasons the youths aren’t happy with Igbo leaders. IPOB won’t take it smoothly on any person who intends to host Nyesom Wike in the outback after the genocide he committed in#Obigbo, and he declared that he’s not an Igboman. Wike is a genocidist and shouldn’t be forgiven.

His father took over Igbo property in the name of abandoned property and he trained Wike with the plutocrat he accumulated from abandoned property he collected from Igbo people in Igweocha after the war of genocide against the Igbo people in 1970, which moved Wike to detest anything associated with Igbo but he shouldn’t come for Igbo vote.
