2023 Presidency: Gov Wike Visits Atiku At His Abuja Residence; The Presidential flagbearer of the Official Peoples Democratic Party( PDP) for the 2023 general election, Atiku Abubakar has received Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State at his residence in Abuja Nigeria.

Mr Atiku had earlier met Wike in Abuja at the latter’s Abuja residence, hours after Atiku floor him to take the party’s presidential ticket of PDP.

Mr Wike, after the local meeting, progressed to Rivers State, where he was saluted by his sympathizers. It appears Mr Wike also travelled to Abuja for the alternate meeting on Wednesday.

It was a pleasure to admit His Excellency Nyesom Wike in the company of notable leaders and officers of our great party, the PDP, at my house moment, Atiku said in a statement on Facebook.

The PDP is presently shopping for a Vice Presidential flagbearer for Atiku and Mr Wike has been rumoured to be one of the favourites to fill the post.
