15-year-old boy graduates from US university before finishing high school

Despite still being in high school student, a 15-year-old boy called Cameron Ray has earned an associate’s degree in arts from the Cuyahoga Community College in Ohio, United States.

Cameron Ray who is a student at the Warrensville Heights High School, Ohio enrolled to Cuyahoga Community College through the Ohio College Credit Plus (CCP) program, which allows high school students to earn college credits at community colleges.

Cameron Ray, a 15 years old graduated from the university in 2019 while he was still a High school junior. When I tell people that I’m only a junior in high school, everyone is typically quite startled, Ray said.

Cameron Ray who later graduated from High School in 2021 had set his ambition to enrol at Cleveland State University, Ohio, United States to pursue his dream of becoming a film director.

I’ve learned that sometimes it’s the best things in life you’ll be fearful of. But you’ve got to push yourself and get acquainted,” Ray said

The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was the only person he could discover who completed college at his age, and Cameron Ray said he is extremely happy to hold a record with him.

Ray said, “That is something I’m very proud of.” King graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1944, and at the age of 15, he was accepted to Morehouse College.
