Brilliant 15-year-old boy by the name, Ian Taylor Schlitz successfully completed the requirements for a bachelor’s degree at the University of Northern Texas in the United States.
When Ian Taylor was very young, he was found to be very gifted. Due to their exceptional brilliance, his parents made the decision to withdraw him and his sister, Haley, from public school and have them homeschooled instead.
At Tarrant County College in Texas, the United States, Ian was already enrolled in college-level classes at the age of 10.
Later, at the age of 15, he enrolled in the University of Northern Texas (UNT) to finish his Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Studies.
Ian said he took education advice from his sister, Haley, who completed her university education at the age of 16 and got accepted into 9 law schools.
Aside from being a young graduate, Ian is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a gaming company he established – Kidlamity Gaming.
At the time of graduation, Ian was not sure about either pursuing a career in animation or medicine but said he has still a lot of time.
I’m not sure exactly what I want to do right now. I enjoy running my business. I think I may decide to get my MBA next.
My mom is a physician, and I think I may want to be a physician someday.
Luckily for me, I have time to pursue an MBA and still go to medical school if I want. That’s one of the best things about early college,” Ian told TCC News.
The MBA program Ian chose to pursue at Tarleton State University in Texas, the United States, will allow him to graduate when he is 17 years old in 2023.
“I am quite happy to have completed my undergraduate studies with great honors.
Because I am aware that e-games and other electronic media can be extremely useful teaching tools, I choose to concentrate in Integrative Studies with a Learning Technologies concentration.
I will begin my MBA program this September at the age of 15,” Ian posted on his Facebook page.
